  • We hired Wechsler Construction in the late summer of 2014 as a general contractor to coordinate, oversee and complete a variety of home improvement projects. These projects included: whole house window replacement, new roof, new garage door, new front door, new siding, new driveway, new addition off second floor master, new landscaping/outdoor lighting, new patio with outside gas fire pit, new front porch and sidewalk, full house interior painting, new appliances, new countertops, new backsplash, new foyer floor, install crown molding throughout, add egress window, install generator, complete basement renovation, replace all interior hardware, install recess lighting throughout, and install water softener.

    We were exceptionally pleased with the work that Wechsler Construction did. The completion of the projects took approximately one year when it was all said and done, however, several of the projects we asked Wechsler to complete were added on to the original plan (given how easy it was to work with the Wechsler team). Wechsler met all of its commitments relative to schedule and price, and someone was always available to answer questions for us. They committed to making the experience as un-intrusive as possible to our family and they met that expectation. They kept us informed daily of the schedule and were very clear about any additional work they were required to complete to ensure our house was up to code (ex: install fire alarms, replace bathroom vents). There was always someone from Wechsler on site.

    I would highly recommend Wechsler Construction for any construction/remodeling needs. We will continue to use them in the future. *****5 Stars.
